Badminton athletes of seven countries competing in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Mongolia Junior International Series 2019 is taking place in Ulaanbaatar on June 18-23, being organized by the Mongolian Badminton Association. Organized for the third consecutive year, 99 athletes from Thailand, India, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, and Mongolia are putting their skills to the test. Matches are taking place for 5 events: men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The champions of the tournament will be selected on June 23.


As this year marks the 20th anniversary of the Mongolian Badminton Association, the Mongolia International Challenge 2019 which athletes will be able to accumulate points for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics is to also take place on June 25-30. Over 300 athletes of 24 countries have submitted their entries so far.
