Bat-Erdene awarded ‘Best Accompanist’ at Tchaikovsky Competition

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Pianist B.Bat-Erdene becomes the first Mongolian to receive ‘The Best Accompanist’ award at the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition being held in Moscow, Russia.
By winning the award at the major competition in the international music community, B.Bat-Erdene presents the skill of national pianists to the world. In 2014, he became the first Mongolian pianist to participate in the International Chopin Piano Competition. Currently, Bat-Erdene teaches at Mongolian State Conservatory.
In 2017, he was also selected by Kawai Musical Instruments to promote Mongolia to the international community.
