"Discovery Channel" on hiking tour in western Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Discovery Channel is making a documentary film about hiking adventures in Mongolia with the "Grand Altai Travel" company in the Bayan-Ulgii aimag.


The film crew has recently hiked 110 km en route from Khoton Lake in Tsengel soum, Bayan-Ulgii aimag to the Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain to Altai Tavan Bogd Mountain and to Baga Oigar Petroglyph. During their travel, they filmed everyday lives of local residents, their traditions and culture. The crew is also planning to return to Mongolia for “Eagle Festival”. The documentary "Hiking Tour Western Mongolia" is set to premiere in October 2020.
