Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Under the auspices of the President of Mongolia, a campaign “The Youth for English” was carried out and the closing ceremony took place today, August 21, at the central square. In the last two years, within the framework of the Policy and Action program carried out by the President of Mongolia, advisers to the President and relevant officials held meetings with more than 36 thousand students and pupils to conduct surveys. During the meetings, the students had put forward requests to have more chances to study in English-language courses and to find summer jobs. As an approach to fulfill the youths demands, “English-speaking students” and “Working students” programs were implemented.
