President visits Mongolian Temple in India

Bengaluru/MONTSAME/. Visiting India on a State visit, the
President Kh.Battulga visited Mongolian Temple in Bodhgaya, Bihar province on September 22.
In
the temple, Hamba Lama of Gandantegchinlen Monastery D.Choijamts welcomed the
delegates led by the President and offered an introduction about the temple.
Opened
officially in 2017 with the arrival of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Mongolian Temple
is located one kilometer far from the Bodhi Tree and Buddha Temple, one of the holiest
pilgrimage site of 510 million Buddhists around the world.
After
getting familiar with the Mongolian Temple, the President Kh.Battulga visited
the Mahabodhi Temple and ruins of Nalanda Mahavihara, UNESCO World Heritage
Sites.
