Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia Zhalgas Zh. Adilbayev presented his Letter of Credence to Mongolian President Kh.Battulga on October 1.

At the meeting held following the ceremony, the sides exchanged views in detail about expanding bilateral relations in economy, trade and investment and considered the most effective sector that can produce outcomes in the nearest future to be agriculture, in particular meat export. For instance, a supply of meat from provinces such as Bayan-Ulgii, Khovd and Uvs to Ulaanbaatar, about 2000 km far from the aimags, surely raises the cost and price, but decreases earnings of herdsmen; thus it is considered potential to export meat from these aimags to Kazakhstan. By doing so, export of meat prepared by halal to markets of Islamic countries can play an important role in expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic relations, said the President. In turn, the Ambassador pledged to work steadily to realize this matter as it will be also beneficial for Kazakhstan which is willing to cooperate with Mongolia in agriculture sector.

Moreover, the President noted that the forthcoming launch of Ulaanbaatar - Nur-Sultan permanent flight is an important proof of relations of the two countries, while requesting to be serious on the issue of extending this flight route to New Delhi and contribute to get support from Kazakhstan’s side.

During the meeting, they had a detailed conversation on bilateral cultural, religious and people-to-people ties.
