Lecture on Ancient Greek civilization’s role in world history delivered

Professor Toracharkhan Chagataikhan, Director of Institute of World history, Culture and Architecture of the Russian Federation, delivered a lecture on ‘The role of Ancient Greek civilization in world history’ at the Institute of History and Archeology, Mongolian Academy of Sciences.
During his
lecture, Professor Chagataikhan discussed about his detailed historic studies
on the contributions of Ancient Greek philosophers including Gerodit,
Hippocrates, Arhimedes, Pifagor, Platone, Sokrates and Aristotetle in
development of world sciences, and the political relationship in between
medieval Mongolian Empire and the Byzantine Empire, especially the
father-in-law relationship of Emperor Michael VIII Palaiologos with Golden
Horde and Ilkhanat.
