Mongolian engineers assemble rail lubrication train

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Engineers and technicians employees of the Mongolian-Russian joint venture Ulaanbaatar Railways together with Mongolian scientists and researchers have set up a new train equipped with rail lubrication system, which is essential for reducing rail wear, enhancing equipment life and ensuring traffic safety and normal operations. The train, used when the movement on railroad is intensified, is estimated to reduce rail and wheel wear by 40-50 percent. The project to build the train was commenced by an order of Road and Transport Development Minister.
