'Mongolian ger and heritage' booklet published

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. ‘Mongolian ger and heritage’ booklet containing Mongolian tradition and heritage was created under the auspices of the Capital City Governor on the occasion of the 380th anniversary of establishment of Ulaanbaatar City. 


Mongolia joined the UNESCO Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2005. By joining the Convention, it is committed to protecting and disseminating the intangible cultural heritage of the country. The Government of Mongolia approved the program 'Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage until 2023'. One of the major works undertaken within the program was the "Mongolian ger and heritage" work.
