Medical oxygen plant installed in Uvurkhangai aimag medical center

Uvurkhangai /MONTSAME/. A new oxygen generator plant to supply oxygen to medical organizations nearby was launched at the Uvurkhangai aimag’s regional diagnostics and medical center.
The new oxygen plant for medical uses that enables full supply of medical oxygen for general clinics of five regional aimags was funded by the Ministry of Health of Mongolia with MNT 350 million. It is deemed to save oxygen transportation cost from Ulaanbaatar city while ensuring quick access to oxygen for patients and ready availability of oxygen equipment of emergency ambulance services.
Former mobile oxygen equipment at local hospitals used to give only 65-70 percent of the required oxygen for the patients, before the new plant put into operation, which provides effective oxygen delivery at 90-95 percent.
