Engineer Geodesy LLC installs map to GPS devices for emergency management use

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. As its social responsibility action, Mongolia’s “Engineer Geodesy” LLC has installed a map of Mongolia to over 40 types of Garmin GPS units and devices used by the Emergency Management agencies during emergency and disaster situations. 


The installation of map that was made free by the company would have costed MNT 4 million. The GPS devices that are loaded with the most updated auto road network across the country, location of places and 2D mapping of buildings will now help emergency officers to take effective and quick rescue measures.
