Mongolian peacekeepers send donation to Central Military Hospital
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On March 12, General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces and family members of Mongolian military personnel serving in peacekeeping operations in the Republic of South Sudan and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan donated face masks, personal protective equipment, and disinfecting and sanitizing products worth MNT 12 million to the Central Military Hospital.
The Peacekeepers’ division of the General Staff of the Mongolian Armed Forces contributed MNT 5 million to the donation and Mongolian peacekeeping contingents led by Colonel D.Battuvshin and Lieutenant Colonel D.Ayushjav collected the remaining MNT 7 million.
Incidentally, the Central Military Hospital is currently
being used as accommodation for isolation and monitoring of the suspected COVID-19
cases with 25 health professionals and 570 beds.
