Ulaanbaatar Mayor checks sports facility construction

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On April 5, Governor of the capital
city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Amarsaikhan inspected the construction process
of the football and athletics arena, being built near the General Authority for
Border, in Bayanzurkh district.
Relevant organizations were tasked to resolve the issue of providing the remaining funding for this construction work.
The sports facility is designed to have the athletics complex, jogging track, basketball and volleyball courts, football pitch, green area, lightings and parking lots.
Moreover, construction of bleachers, shade and restroom facilities have been complete. The flooring of the football pitch with the artificial
turf is running at 90 percent. Works of paving slabs on the pedestrian walkway,
building parking lots as well as enclosure are underway.
