Public open space area to be created downtown

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Landscaping and tree planting works
are currently being undertaken in the capital city.
Over the last weekend, 7 large billboards were removed from
a downtown area near the Sukhbaatar Square and works are underway to clear the
land and create a public open space area on 1,136 sq.m of the land that
was not used for its intended purpose for 15 years.
Also 1,200 trees have been planted in 78 streets and other
areas of Ulaanbaatar city this spring.
