UN and WHO donate test kits and respirators

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The United Nations and the World Health Organization (WHO) donated equipment  worth of MNT 428 million to help Mongolia prevent the risk of coronavirus.




It includes respirators, medical masks, laboratory test kits and other equipment. The assistance was  handed over by the UN Resident Coordinator Tapan Mishra and the WHO Resident Representative Dr.Sergey Diorditsa to Mongolia’s Minister of Health

Minister D.Sarangerel said, “At the time when the COVID-19 pandemic has infected more than 7.7 million people around the world, Mongolia is taking all possible measures to prevent the spread of the disease domestically and to ensure the readiness of health care. We are so grateful to WHO for its continued support and cooperation.”
