Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In the framework of the project being jointly implemented by the State Central Third Hospital and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a training was organized for the third time under the theme, ‘Improvement of diagnostic ability in early phase of occupational respiratory disease’ on September 14-16.
A highly skilled and experienced team of Japanese doctors led the training via Zoom. The training covered various topics, including infectious respiratory disease /COVID-19/, pulmonary dusting, diagnostic imaging of diseases caused by asbestosis, the importance of endoscopic diagnosis of thoracic disease, endoscopic examination of respiratory diseases, modern trends in diagnosis, and advanced methodology.
A total of 130 doctors and specialists involved in pathology, thoracic surgery, and endoscopy from the nine districts of the capital city and 21 aimags participated in the training.
