Some 500 Mongolian nationals brought home

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Last Friday and Sunday, two charter flights brought a total of 503 Mongolian nationals home.


The first flight en route Seoul-Ulaanbaatar which brought 252 Mongolian nationals transited through South Korea from 14 countries including Mexico, Canada, the U.S., Brazil and some countries of Southeast Asia and North America landed at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport on October 16. Among the passengers arrived on this flight, there were 51 families with young children, 30 elders, 22 people with health concerns and 149 people with other reasonable excuses.


As for the second flight which landed in Ulaanbaatar on October 18, it brought 251 Mongolians including 48 families with young children, 1 elder, 4 pregnant women and people with their caregivers, 5 people with health concerns and 193 people with other reasonable excuses from Seoul.


The citizens arrived on these two flights were put into mandatory isolation at the National Center for Communicable Diseases and other isolation facilities, reports the Operative Staff of the State Emergency Commission.
