24 new COVID-19 cases recorded, total reaches 406

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 24 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded after 644 tests were carried out on November 11. More specifically, among them are two people, who entered the country across Altanbulag border checkpoint on October 22 and November 10, 13 people, who arrived on charter flights from Seoul on October 19 and 20, three people, who returned on charter flight from Delhi on October 21 and three other people who got tested with purpose of surveillance. As a result, total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia have reached 406.


Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases A.Ambaselmaa provided updates on the latest COVID-19 test results today. “There are 73 persons, who had close contacts with the driver and out of the 48 persons tested on November 11, one was diagnosed positive, making the confirmed infected persons, who had close contacts with the driver five. 171 indirect contacts of the infected citizens were tested negative for the coronavirus. Specifically, five persons, who traveled to Umnugobi, Zamiin-Uud and Selenge were tested negative,” she informed.
