MIAT conducts two cargo-only flights to Beijing in past day

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. As part of the ongoing strict lockdown placed to prevent from the spread of COVID-19, all international and in-country passenger flights and train transports have been halted.
In the past 24 hours, MIAT Mongolian Airlines conducted two cargo-only flights between Ulaanbaatar and Beijing cities, bringing medical supplies and rapid test kits weighing over 41 tons.
Moreover, the Ulaanbaatar Railways has transported 21.8 tons of cargo in its northern and southern routes within the country, as reported by the Ministry of Road and Transport Development.
