Letter on nomination for PM presented to President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Head of the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP) caucus in the State Great Khural D.Togtokhsuren MP and Chairman of the Standing Committee on State Structures L.Enkh-Amgalan presented the official letter on the nomination for appointment as Prime Minister to Chief of Staff of the President’s Office U.Shijir.
At the MPP Conference, convened January 22nd, 2021, the ruling party members unanimously voted for L.Oyun-Erdene MP, Chief of the Cabinet Secretariat, to nominate the latter to be the next Prime Minister.
Upon receiving the official letter, Chief of Staff of the President’s Office U.Shijir assured that a proposal will be submitted to the State Great Khural in the legal timeframe, in accordance with the Section 39.2, Article 39 of the Constitution.
