Ambassador of Vietnam presents credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The
newly accredited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist
Republic of Vietnam Doan Khanh Tam presented his credentials to President of
Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, on February 26.
Ambassador Doan Khanh Tam
conveyed greetings from the President of Vietnam to President Battulga. The
Ambassador also informed the head of state that he set five main objectives,
which he submitted to and received approval from the country’s leaders, to
achieve during his appointment as the head of Vietnamese diplomatic mission to
Mongolia.
President Battulga expressed
his confidence in the Ambassador’s ability to improve the bilateral economic
relations “as a diplomat with many years of experience is being appointed the
Ambassador to Mongolia”. “The five main objectives that You have set out are
broadly achievable. The President’s administration is always open to
collaborations in implementation of the objectives in business and commerce”,
he continued.
Noting that he is aware of the
Ambassador’s proficiency in Chinese and Japanese languages, the President also
suggested adding another objective, which is to master Mongolian language.
The dignitaries went on to exchange their views on the possibilities to solidify the two country’s cooperation in politics, society, economy, agriculture, culture and education.
