48 new cases of COVID-19 detected, total reaches 3,000

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/.  It was reported during today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 48 new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Mongolia after conducting 13,108 tests in the past 24 hours. 43 cases of them were close contacts of the previously confirmed cases, two were detected from the capital city-wide surveillance 'One door-One test' and sources of three cases are being investigated. No new infections were reported in other aimags.


As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 3,000, with 2,330 recoveries which means 77.6 percent of the total COVID-19 patients have been recovered. 31 people have been discharged from the hospital in the past 24 hours.

 

Currently, a total of 655 patients are under treatment and 578 of them are in mild, 71 in serious, nine in critcial and one is in very critical health condition.
