Ministers of Finance and Mining meet Indian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 1, Minister of Finance B.Javkhlan and Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry G.Yondon received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia Mohinder Pratap Singh.
The meeting touched upon the ongoing oil refinery development, which is deemed to play a significant role in the bilateral relations between Mongolia and India.
With soft loan from the government of India, the oil refinery project is successfully underway and has recently entered to the construction and assembly stage. JMC Projects (India) Ltd – Indian construction engineering company, launched the infrastructure development for the oil refinery project on January 15, 2021.
At the meeting, the Indian Ambassador pledged to provide all-round support for the successful implementation of the project, which serves as a symbol for the Mongolian-Indian bilateral ties.
