MPs Purevdorj, Adiyasuren present draft law on Joint Pension

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 22, members of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia B.Purevdorj and A.Adiyasuren presented a draft law on Joint Pension to Chairman of Parliament G.Zandanshatar.


The main concept of the draft legislation is that if one of the family members passes away, a certain percentage of the pension will be inherited to a remaining family member for life. But there are certain criteria. For instance, they must have lived together for more than 10 years, hold a marriage certificate, and have a child(s) of their own.
