Foreign Minister participates in AmCham monthly meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B.Battsetseg participated yesterday, May 4, in a meeting themed ‘Diplomacy During Pandemic’ hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia (AmCham) as a guest speaker.


The Minister presented the progress of the ‘MNT 10 trillion plan for the health protection and economic recovery’ which is being implemented by the government of Mongolia and issues of vaccine supply and reopening of the border.


The Minister also briefed on Mongolia's third neighbor policy, steps to join regional trade and economic integration, and the works being done to strengthen the Mongolia-U.S strategic partnership, while emphasizing the vital role of AmCham in expanding bilateral cooperation in the business sector.


The meeting was attended by U.S Ambassador Michael Klecheski, British Ambassador Philip Malone, Australian Ambassador Dave Vosen, Canadian Ambassador Catherine Ivkoff, AmCham Board Chairman James Liotta and more than 70 AmCham members.
