Earthquake occurs in Khankh soum three days in a row

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in a place called ‘Doloon-Uul’, 25 km southwest of Khankh soum, at 02:31 AM today.


Thus, the soum stuck by five occurrences of 3.8-6.3 magnitude earthquake three days in a row. It was reported that residents of the soum felt the tremors but no damage was recorded.


To date, over 62,000 occurrences of earthquake have been registered since the 6.5 magnitude earthquake on January 12 in a place 26 km southwest of Khankh soum.
