Mayor of Ulaanbaatar meets Turkish Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Governor of the capital city and
Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city D. Sumiyabazar had a meeting with Ambassador of the
Republic of Turkey Zafer Ates on September 7.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mayor D. Sumiyabazar
congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to Mongolia and noted that he
becomes acquainted with the Ambassador at this time when cities of Ulaanbaatar
and Gaziantep are marking 10th anniversary of the establishment of brotherly
ties.
Ulaanbaatar city has brotherly ties with Ankara and has
experience in humanitarian and tourism cooperation with Istanbul.
During the meeting, the sides agreed to explore
opportunities to increase the capital’s green areas and cooperate in the social
sector with aims to strengthen relations and cooperation between the cities. In
addition, they expressed their commitment
to elevate bilateral relations and cooperation through the implementations of
joint projects and programs in the framework of the city's challenges.
