Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 25, the 4th meeting of the Regular Meeting Mechanism between the State Great Khural of Mongolia and the National People's Congress of the People’s Republic of China took place.

He said, “As we consider that the stable socio-economic growth of China contributes to the pleasant foreign environment for Mongolia’s development, we have continuously supported creating correlation between the two countries’ development strategies. The global pandemic continues to cause issues for countries’ economic growth, foreign cooperation, international traffic, and freight transport. During this challenging time, I am delighted to note that the two countries’ peoples and governments continue to cooperate in a model way, providing mutual support.”

Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, Head of the China-Mongolia parliamentary group Baima Chilin said, “Bringing the cooperation between the two countries’ legislatures to a new level has an important role in bilateral relations. In the framework of this goal, the regular meeting mechanism is crucial. As the China-Mongolia-Russia relations make up a significant part of China’s foreign policy, we aim to develop a mutually-beneficial cooperation. I am confident that the relations will also allow for cooperation in regional and international matters. During the difficult times of the pandemic, the two countries continue to have close cooperation, providing one another with heartfelt support.

This year, bilateral trade turnover reached USD 7.0 billion as of the first 9 months, growing by 46.5 percent compared to last year. Moreover, cooperation projects and programs continue to be successfully implemented. As it is important to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the sectors of education and healthcare as well as between the two countries’ peoples, our goal will be to expand cooperation between legislatures to create a favorable legal environment for relations and cooperation in all sectors.”
