Agriculture Minister delivers remarks at UNIDO’s 19th General Conference

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. UNIDO’s 19th General Conference
is taking place under the theme ‘Building a better future’ in Vienna, Austria
between November 29 and December 3.
Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Z.Mendsaikhan
virtually attended the General Debate of the conference and delivered remarks.
In his remarks, Minister Z.Mendsaikhan emphasized the
importance of UNIDO's role and cooperation in achieving the Sustainable
Development Goals and overcoming the development challenges facing the world
due to the pandemic, and expressed Mongolia’s willingness to expand its
cooperation with UNIDO to achieve the 9th SDG.
During the 19th General Conference, more than 30
issues are being discussed, including UNIDO’s 2019 and 2020 action reports, as
well as its activities for energy, environment, gender equality and women’s
rights.
