Cooperation with FAO discussed at open-door event

December 10, the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization held an open
door event, which was attended by State Secretary of the Ministry of Food,
Agriculture and Light Industry T.Jambaltseren and department directors of the ministry.
During the event, results of the actions undertaken by FAO in 2020-2021, the
organization’s joint actions with the government of Mongolia, and partnership framework
for 2022-2023 were presented.
The partnership between Mongolia and FAO for 2022-2023 will be directed towards the five goals: improving the system for providing nutritious and healthy food to everyone; sustainably enhancing the productivity of crop and livestock farming industries; strengthening the agricultural product value chain, promoting more equitable and sustainable use of natural resources; and supporting the coping capacity of the agriculture sector.
