Labour Minister meets ‘Creating responsible and sustainable societies in Mongolia’ project team

Minister of Labour and Social Protection A.Ariunzaya held a meeting with the
team implementing the ‘Creating responsible and sustainable societies in
Mongolia’ project being implemented by Social Partnership Network NGO through Danish
International Development Agency (DANIDA).
The project, aimed at lifting
low-income families from poverty through capacity-building and contributing to
rural development is being implemented in Bayanzurkh and Khan-Uul districts of
Ulaanbaatar city, and Bayankhongor, Darkhan-Uul, Dornogobi, Dundgobi, Zavkhan,
Orkhon, Selenge, Tuv, and Umnugobi aimags.
Project consultant Jørgen
Ringgaard and other officials attended the meeting. They gave brief information
on the project implementation and proposed cooperating with relevant
departments of the ministry.
The sides agreed to work
together in improving livelihoods of the target groups, supporting small
and medium sized businesses, and creating jobs.
