Mongolian sculptors win second place at Olkhon ice art competition

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian sculptors Ts.Munkh-Erdene and E.Uugantsetseg took second place at an international ice art competition held on Lake Baikal’s Olkhon island with their sculpture inspired by the Xiongnu Empire.
It was their second year at
the competition. They won the competition when they participated for the first
time in 2020.
One of them, Ts.Munkh-Erdene
makes sculptures using snow and ice in winter and wood and sand in other
seasons. His biggest creation is the Dinosaur Park in Bayankhongor aimag, for
which he sculpted a 7m tall, 15 m long dinosaur in collaboration with artist
B.Delgersaikhan.
