UNICEF and IWFCI Mongolia establish MoU

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF)
and the International Women’s Federation of Commerce and Industry in Mongolia (IWFCI
Mongolia) established a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen cooperation
on the implementation of the ‘Children’s Rights and Business Principles’ and ‘Family-friendly
workplace policies’ in business organizations.
UNICEF Representative to Mongolia Evariste Kouassi-Komlan
emphasized that UNICEF promotes children’s rights and business principles
around the world through business associations.
In 2019, IWFCI Mongolia became an implementing agency of
'Children's Rights and Business Principles’ with the technical assistance of
UNICEF Mongolia, reflecting these principles in all projects, training,
discussions, and events, and following, implementing them through the business
practices of our member organizations.
President of IWFCI Mongolia O.Baigali said the federation
has successfully introduced the principles to its 22 members.
