Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The launching event on 'Development partner funded projects' integrated database and information sharing' was held on April 14 in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection within the framework of the EU-funded project 'SDG-aligned Budgeting to Transform the Employment in Mongolia.' Over 40 representatives from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, the General Agency for Labor Welfare Services, the Social Insurance General Office, the Authority for Family, Child and Youth Development, the General Authority for Development of Persons with Disabilities, the Occupational Safety, and Health center, the Research Institute of Labor and Social Protection as well as development partner funded project teams attended this event.

The Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Mongolia, A. Ariunzaya, European Union Ambassador to Mongolia, Axelle Nicaise, and UNDP Resident Representative, Elaine Conkievich delivered opening remarks at the launching event.

The primary purpose of this event was to introduce the online-based software/database, which accommodates information on projects and programs that have been implemented towards employment and social protection, and to exchange views on further considerations. The event participants highlighted the importance of an integrated database, which would help better coordination and synergies, exchange of lessons/ideas among those projects, and strengthen the eco-system for employability to better include different target beneficiaries into the labor market.
