Tourism Minister works in Khuvsgul

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister
of Environment and Tourism B.Bat-Erdene paid a working visit to Khuvsgul aimag,
seeking opportunities to develop tourism in the aimag and getting acquainted
with local environmental pollution and waste management efforts.
The Minister visited the site
where the Sukhbaatar ship is and talked with the local authorities about taking
the ship under protection and promoting it as a tourist attraction of
historical significance.
The local authorities presented
the development plan of Khuvsgul aimag as a tourist destination and asked for
support in conducting a detailed research of vehicles that sank into the lake.
