Minister of Culture meets her Italian counterpart

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During a working visit to the
Italian Republic, Minister of Culture Ch.Nomin held a meeting with her
Italian counterpart Dario Franceschini to discuss in detail the implementation
of the intergovernmental program for cooperation in education, science and sports
until 2025.
During the meeting, the sides agreed to achieve results in
the short term. In connection with the adoption of the Intergovernmental
Program, Minister Ch.Nomin also exchanged views with authorities of the
university for cooperation.
Specifically, the parties touched upon the issues related to
the detection, restoration, evaluation of cultural heritage and artworks
illegally imported and repatriation of them to their legal owners.
In addition, the parties agreed to introduce advanced
technologies of Italy into projects being implemented in Mongolia for the
restoration of historical and cultural monuments, and to cooperate in the
establishment of the Mongolian Center for History and Culture based on the
resources and experience of Ca' Foscari University of Venice and
the implementation of a special program for exchange of artists, teachers and
specialists of classical art.
