Judo athlete Teddy Riner arrives in Mongolia for joint training

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On May 1, top Korean and French
judo athletes led by three-time Olympic gold medalist Teddy Riner and World
Champion An Baul arrived in Ulaanbaatar to conduct joint training.
Teddy Riner, who has won three Olympic gold medals (two
individual, one team), ten gold medals at World Championships, and five gold
medals at the European Championships, is in the team from France. He is 33
years old and has not participated in any competition since the Tokyo Olympics.
French Judoka Teddy Riner started his new Olympic cycle with
a joint training in Brazil in March. Now, he is having a joint training with
Mongolian team. Previously, he arrived Mongolia in 2012 and 2015.
As for An Baul, a gold and bronze medalist from world
championship and Olympic silver and bronze medalist, he has been participating in
the competitions of the IOC since the Tokyo Olympics. An Baul, 28, has won a
bronze medal from the Grand Prix Portugal and a silver medal from the Paris
Grand Slam early this year. The South Korean judo athletes are conducting a
joint training in Mongolia till May 13.
