Government resolution passed to ensure winter and spring preparations

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At today’s regular Cabinet meeting,
the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry presented its plan to
ensure preparations for 2022-2023 winter and spring seasons in consideration of
the high risk of animal diseases, excessive increase in the number of
livestock, decreasing pasture capacity as well as weather forecast for this
summer.
In connection, the Cabinet passed a resolution on some
measures to ensure preparations for winter and spring of 2022-2023 in
agriculture sector, and approved the amount of hay and fodder that should be
prepared for the security reserves of aimags, capital, soums, and districts.
