Health Minister meets UNFPA Head of Office in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Dr. Enkhbold, Minister of Health
warmly received Dr. Khalid, UNFPA Head of office in Mongolia, welcoming him
with a new appointment, and held a thorough discussion on current challenges
and further development programmes in the maternal health services in Mongolia.
Dr. Khalid introduced its new country programme starting
from 2023 and the successful partnership with Luxembourg government for the
next phase of Telemedicine for maternal and newborn health project. Both
leaderships of UNFPA and the Ministry of Health expressed their full commitment
to continuous partnership in the UNFPA’s next country programme in improving maternal
and sexual and reproductive health in the country.
