Cooperation in space research to be developed with Russia

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Ministry of Digital Development and
Communications of Mongolia and ‘Roscosmos’ state space corporation of Russia
signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.
The event was organized virtually as agreed by Presidents of
the two countries to develop cooperation in the field of space research during
their official meeting on December 16, 2021.
The MoU was signed by B. Bolor-Erdene, State Secretary of
the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications and Secretary of
National Space Council, and by Saveliev Sergey Valentinovich, acting director
in charge of international cooperation, Roscosmos.
Within the framework of this cooperation, the parties will
work together in the fields of research and use of space for peaceful purposes,
training and launching the first female astronaut of Mongolia into space, and
intensifying bilateral cooperation in the space research.
