B. Naadam wins gold medal at World Martial Arts Championships 2022

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian athlete Naadam Boldbaatar won the gold medal in the 80 kg category of the World Martial Arts Championships 2022, held in Antalya, Turkiye, and became the two-time world champion between October 31 and November 7, 2022.  


In this tournament, more than 1000 athletes from 31 countries participated. Mongolian athlete B. Naadam is also the coach of S. Nyampiljee, who won a bronze medal in the youth category of the World Martial Arts Championships 2022. In addition, Nyampiljee is the son of E. Sodnompiljee, a gold medalist of the XVI Paralympic Games and a two-time world champion.




N. Myagmarsuren won a bronze medal in the women's category.
