The First World Junior Swimming Champion of Mongolia

2023 /MONTSAME/. Between January 23 and 29, “The winter swimming World Championship-2023” was held in Bled, Slovenia. M. Tsenguun, ten years old, won the first prize in the 50m “Head Up Breaststroke” category. She is the first world junior swimming champion of Mongolia.
Her grandfather, a swimming coach, has
participated in this championship and won 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. He is a
well-experienced athlete who won 32 gold, 29 silver, and 14 bronze medals in
winter swimming contests overall.
Lake Bled has a long tradition of organizing
high level impressive events, including the Winter Swimming World Championships
in 2010. Lake Bled is a first-class rowing venue (host of four World Rowing
Championships) and this year’s host of European Masters Championships in open
water swimming.
