Uvurkhangai Aimag Plants over 180 thousand Trees This Spring

July 18, 2023 /MONTSAME/. This spring, from May 12 through June 25, over 300 enterprises and 6,800
citizens planted 186 thousand trees and bushes throughout the Uvurkhangai aimag
under the campaign with the motto "Let Every Family Plant Trees in Their
Yards." Currently, the construction of a forest strip is underway to
combat desertification and reduce soil degradation and erosion in the aimag.
One of the highlighting projects of this year's tree
planting season was the "Memorial Garden" in Arvaikheer City,
covering an area of 23 hectares.
Similarly, the practice of planting trees and
creating lasting memories has evolved into a cherished tradition during
graduation and reunion celebrations among people.
