Chairman Zandanshatar Receives the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Luxembourg

Ulaanbaatar, August 23, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia G. Zandanshatar received the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Luxembourg Mr. Philippe Cahen on August 21, 2023.
The parties discussed and exchanged views on strengthening the relations between the two countries, expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, and other issues. Mr. Zandanshatar emphasized that the European Union is Mongolia’s “third neighbor,” sharing common values of democracy, human rights, freedom, and a free market economy. He commended Mr. Cahen’s valuable contribution to enhancing friendly relations and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.
The parties agreed to enrich the bilateral cooperation with economic and investment activities in the future, and acknowledged that there are ample opportunities for cooperation in the areas of renewable energy, green financing, and the carbon market.
The Meeting was attended by L. Bold, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and officials of the State Great Khural.
