Projects to Implement in Darkhan-Uul, Selenge and Arkhangai Aimags

projects and programs will be implemented in Darkhan-Uul aimag, seven in
Selenge aimag, and seven in Arkhangai aimag respectively.
During his countryside assignments
this month, the Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene has worked in ten aimags. The
presentation of his assignments was discussed upon at the Cabinet session and
relevant decisions were made. On September 14-19, 2023, the Premier visited
Darkhan-Uul, Selenge, and Arkhangai aimags, and agricultural regions, got
acquainted with the projects and programs under implementation and the harvest
process, met with citizens and listened to their opinions and requests.
It was resolved to include in
the next year's budget the major constructions and projects prioritized by the
citizens themselves during the meetings of the Prime Minister with local
residents. In this frame, nine major projects and programs will be implemented
in Darkhan-Uul aimag, seven in Selenge aimag, and seven in Arkhangai aimag respectively.
The citizens’ proposals were sorted, and the Minister of Finance B. Javkhlan was tasked to work on reflecting in the next year’s budget viable constructions, projects, and programs for 2024 per each aimag. The Head of the Inspection Department of the Government B. Baasandorj was instructed to conduct inspection of government and political appointments in the scope of the Wiping-Out Operation of the Government, and present the results to the Government. The Head of the State Property Coordination Policy Agency B. Tsengel and the Executive Director of Erdenes Mongolia LLC S. Narantsogt were instructed to inspect activities of Tsement Shokhoi State-owned JSC, implementation of given tasks and its human resources. The Minister of Finance B. Javkhlan was tasked to study the situation at the Darkhan Leather Complex, and an issue of compensating the investor company, and present the results to the Government. The Vice-Premier and Minister of Economy and Development Ch. Khurelbaatar, and the Minister of Port Revival B. Tulga were tasked to intensify extension and modernization of activities, facilities and infrastructure of Altanbulag Port, Selenge aimag. The related Cabinet members were tasked to convey to the Ministry of Finance the new investment projects and programs that had not been registered in the budget planning system upon relevant approval.
