The Meeting of the Freelance Council Held

Ulaanbaatar, January 11, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The meeting of the Freelance Council responsible for ensuring and monitoring the implementation of the “Master Plan for the Implementation in 2023-2025 of the recommendations put forward by the UN Human Rights Council”, approved by Resolution of the Government of Mongolia No. 357 dated September 26, 2023, was held on January 10, 2024, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.
At the meeting, chaired by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs N. Ankhbayar, members of the Council discussed the draft report on the implementation of the recommendations of the UN Human Rights Council and exchanged views and information.
Mongolia presented and
defended in 2020 the Third National Report on the State of Human Rights at the
36th session of the Working Group for General Discussion on the State of Human
Rights. And in February of this year, our country must submit to the UN Human
Rights Council a mid-term report on the measures taken following the above
session.
