Mongolian Deputy Foreign Minister Receives Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan

Ulaanbaatar, March 6, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Amartuvshin Gombosuren received and met with representatives led by Jinichi Kadowaki, Deputy Director-General of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, on March 5, 2024. These representatives are participating in the 6th consultation meeting between Mongolia and Japanese organizations responsible for foreign relations, security, and defense issues.


At the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister Amartuvshin thanked the Government of Japan for its consistent support for democracy, reform, and sustainable development in Mongolia, and also affirmed his desire to expand and develop relations and cooperation with Japan, given their shared common values.


The parties noted the deepening development of relations between Mongolia and Japan at the high level of the "Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity", and agreed that it is important to further intensify dialogue and mutual visits at all levels, strengthen political consultation mechanisms and regional and multi-level cooperation.


Jinichi Kadowaki, Deputy Director of the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, expressed his desire to further strengthen 'people-centered' cooperation and further deepen the mechanism of cooperation and dialogue between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs.
