B.Enkhtamir Wins Two Gold and One Silver at the Hongkong Tournament

Ulaaanbaatar, June 19, 2024/MONTSAME/. Mongolian swimmer B. Enkhtamir won two gold, and one silver medal at the pre-Olympics tournament “2024 Hong Kong China Long Course Swimming Invitational Trial II.


At the tournament, over 750 swimmers participated in 17 courses and categories. The coach E.Demuulin headed the team from Mongolia consisting of International master B.Enkhtamir, KH.Tselmeg, and sports master A.Altannar. The international master B. Enkhtamir won the gold medal in the 50 and 200-meter courses of breaststroke swimming and the silver medal in the 100-meter course of breaststroke swimming. With these achievements, Enkhtamir scored 758 points. Moreover, his time elapsed in a 50-meter course breaststroke swimming in 23.49 seconds hit the highest record in Mongolia. In this course and category, the previous highest record was 23.81 seconds in Mongolia, and it advanced by 0.32 seconds as a new record.


The international master Kh.Tselmeg, sports master A.Atannar has advanced their personal records in the course and categories they competed.

The International Water Sports Federation confirmed the swimmers to compete in the Paris Olympics pool course and granted one right in each men's and women's categories for the team of Mongolia. The Mongolian Water Sports Federation will announce soon the swimmers to participate in the Paris Olympics.
