Ulaanbaatar, July 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck will pay a State Visit to Mongolia on July 8-15, 2024.


During the State Visit, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck will hold official talks and exchange views on expanding bilateral relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the Kingdom of Bhutan, and cooperation on the international and regional arenas. The two parties will also sign documents on strengthening the legal basis for the relations. 


Furthermore, King of Bhutan His Majesty Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, and his family will attend the National Naadam Festival and other ceremonial events as Honored Guests. 


This Visit will be the first state visit by King of Bhutan to Mongolia after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Kingdom of Bhutan in 2012.
