Mongolian Athletes Win Six Medals

Ulaanbaatar, August 13, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The “Rifle World Shoot - 2024” International Practical Shooting Tournament took place in Oulu, Finland, on August 2-10, 2024.


Over 820 sharpshooters from 35 countries competed at the tournament, which is held every four years. From Mongolia, 16 sharpshooters in four teams took part and won three gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.


In the manual action bolt category, Dashdemberel Sodnomjamts won a gold medal, while the Mongolian team also won first place in the team category.


Moreover, young Mongolian sharpshooter Arig Naranbaatar won the first-ever gold medal in the semi-auto standard junior category for Mongolia.
